Ingredients of Finger Fish | اجزاء:

🔹 500 grams boneless fish fillets (Basa or Sole) 500

🔹 1 tbsp lemon juice                                                                   

🔹 1 tsp paste of garlic                                                                   

🔹 1 tsp paste of ginger                                                                 

🔹 1 tsp red chili powder                                                               

🔹 1 tsp black pepper                                                                           

🔹 1 tsp salt or to taste                                                              

🔹 1 tsp crushed cumin                                                                     

🔹 1/2 tsp chaat masala                                                            

🔹 1 egg (beaten)                                                                                       

🔹 1/2 cup flour of corn                                                                               

🔹 1/2 cup Maida                                                                                                  

🔹 Bread crumbs (as needed for coating)         

🔹 Oil for deep frying                                                                                    

Preparation Steps of Finger Fish | بنانے کا طریقہ:

Step 1: Prepare the Fish | مچھلی کی تیاری

Make long, finger-like strips out of the fish fillets. Wash them and use a paper towel to wipe dry.

مچھلی کو فنگر کی شکل میں لمبے ٹکڑوں میں کاٹ لیں۔ دھو کر کاغذی تولیے سے خشک کر لیں۔

Step 2: Marination | میرینیٹ کریں

Combine the lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, black pepper, red chili powder, salt, cumin, and chaat masala in a bowl. Coat the fish pieces thoroughly after adding them to this mixture. To let the flavors settle, cover and chill for half an hour.

Step 3: Coating | کوٹنگ کریں

Take three bowls. In the first, add corn flour and all-purpose flour mixed with a pinch of salt and pepper. In the second bowl-keep the beaten egg. In the third bowl, place bread crumbs.

Now take each marinated fish strip, roll it first in the flour mix, dip it in egg, and then coat with bread crumbs. Repeat for all pieces.

In a deep-frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat.  The coated fish fingers should be carefully inserted into the heated oil.  Fry until golden brown and crispy, 3 to 4 minutes per side. To remove extra oil and place on paper towels.
