📝 Ingredients of Crispy Fried Fish (اجزاء):

  • Fish fillets – 500 grams (boneless or with bone, as preferred)
  • Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – to taste
  • Gram flour (besan) – 2 tablespoons
  • Two tablespoons of rice flour (for added crispiness)
  • Water – as needed (for coating)
  • Oil – for deep frying

  1. Clean the Fish:
    Wash the fish thoroughly and pat it dry using a paper towel.
  2. Marinate:
    In a bowl, add lemon juice & ginger garlic paste & salt, and all the dry spices. Mix well. Add the fish pieces and coat them properly. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Coating:
    To the marinated fish, add rice flour and gram flour. Sprinkle a little water and mix until fish pieces are well-coated with a thick masala layer.
  4. Fry the Fish:
    Heat oil in a pan. Once hot, gently slide the fish pieces and fry on medium flame until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  5. Serve Hot:
    To get rid of extra oil, place them on a paper towel. Serve hot with mint chutney, lemon wedges, or ketchup.
