For the Beef Marinade:
* 750g beef (boneless or shank, cut into cubes)
* 1 cup yogurt
* 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
* 1 tsp turmeric powder
* 1 tsp red chili powder

* 6 cups water
* 1 tsp salt

* 2–3 tomatoes, chopped
* 2–3 green chilies, slit
* ½ cup fresh coriander, chopped

* ½ tsp saffron strands soaked in 2 tbsp warm milk or orange food color
* 1 tsp biryani masala (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions of Beef Biryani
1. Marinate the Beef
1. Mix all of these yogurts, paste of garlic, powder of coriander, chili, Masala and oil and salt in a Bowl.
2. Let marinate for at least 1 hour.
2. Cook the Beef
1. Need Heated 2–3 tbsp oil or ghee in a pan.
2. Fry sliced onions until golden brown, then set half aside for layering.
3. Once the steak is cooked and the oil separates from the masala, add the marinated meat and simmer over medium heat for 45 to 60 minutes.
3. Cook the Rice
1. Boil water with whole spices (cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf) and salt.
2. Add soaked basmati rice and cook until 70% done. Drain and set aside.
