Ingredients of Chicken Manchurian Bread:
For Crispy Chicken:
* Boneless chicken (small cubes) – 250g
* Corn flour – 2 tbsp
* All-purpose flour (maida) – 2 tbsp
* Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
* Soy sauce – 1 tsp
* Salt – to taste
* Black pepper – ½ tsp
* Water – as needed
* Oil – for deep frying
For Manchurian Sauce:
* Oil – 2 tbsp
* Garlic (finely chopped) – 1 tbsp
* Ginger (finely chopped) – 1 tsp
* Chili Green 1–2 (slit or chopped)
* Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
* Capsicum – 1 small (diced)
* Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
* Red chili sauce – 1 tbsp
* Tomato ketchup – 1½ tbsp
* Vinegar – 1 tsp
* Corn flour slurry (1 tsp corn flour + 2 tbsp water)
* Spring onions – for garnish
* Salt and pepper – to taste
For the Bread Base:
* Slices of Bread 6 (white or whole wheat)
* Butter – for toasting
* Cheese (optional) – grated mozzarella or cheddar
Method of Cooking Chicken Manchurian Bread:
Step 1: Marinate & Fry Chicken
1. In a bowl, mix chicken cubes with corn flour, all-purpose flour, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and just enough water to coat the chicken.
2. Heat oil or ghee (whichever is available) in a deep pan and fry the chicken pieces until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Step 2: Prepare Manchurian Sauce
1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Sauté for 30 seconds.
2. Add onions in shape of chopped and cook till translucent.
3. Add diced capsicum and sauté for 2–3 minutes (don’t overcook; keep it crunchy).
4. Add soy sauce, chili red sauce and ketchup, and vinegar. Stir well.
5. Add the corn flour slurry and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
6. Toss in the fried chicken. Mix well until coated. Adjust seasoning. Garnish with spring onions.
Step 3: Toast the Bread
1. Butter both sides of bread slices lightly.
2. Toast on a hot pan or grill until golden and crispy. You can also use a toaster.
3. Optional: Add some grated cheese on one side while hot and let it melt slightly.
Step 4: Assemble
1. Spoon the hot Chicken Manchurian mixture generously over each toasted bread slice.
2. Garnish with more spring onions or cheese (if desired).
3. Serve immediately for the best crunch and flavor.

* For extra crunch, bake the assembled bread in a preheated oven at 180°C for 5 minutes.
